Synopsis: When Ronon becomes a prisoner offworld, his captors hand him over to the Wraith, who take him to his homeworld. There, he is forced to once again become their prey, but witness to his capture, Sheppard's team races to Sateda to return him to his new home.

All I can say is YES - they finally get to wear cool uniforms!

Sheppard - black leather jacket.
The others - black Stargate uniforms.

I don't like the black uniforms on SG-1, but they're perfect for Atlantis. They actually looked good tonight, not like Star Trek wannabe's. Unfortunately in the preview for next week it looks like their back to their old clothes again. Bleh.

Although Teyla's uniform bugs me, because you know its only purpose is to try to sell the show on sex appeal to certain audience members. I can understand her wearing the more revealing clothes if they came from her own wardrobe, but I don't think that black low-cut tank top came from her own wardrobe and why would none of the other personnel be wearing that kind of tank top if it was available to them? No, Teyla should have been wearing a standard Stargate uniform like the others.

Other than that, it was a great episode for Ronan's character. It did good to make him seem more human. Although most of those flashbacks I found annoying, the ones that lasted longer to allow us to understand his past, especially the one in the hospital where his girlfriend or wife or whatever she was got blown away. I did feel sympathy for his character. And I loved his reaction when he got in the puddle jumper at the end. Good ol' Carson.

I absolutely loved the talk at the table between Sheppard and Teyla. That was sweet.

I liked the part where McKay gets struck in the but. :j1 I also liked when he's lying in the bed talking in a randomly about stuff.

My god, I thought this episode kicked TOTAL ***!

Tell you the truth, Ronin did kick a lot of wraith *** XD

Since im such a big action fan its no suprise I loved this episode :p


But yeah. Ronin going around his world, having the flashbacks, picking up weapons, and everything else was just so awsome.

The flashbacks not only showed a more human side to Ronin, which he really needed :p But it also showed his world. A world simmalar to ours in a way, With diffrent weaponry and the will to fight for their nation. I like Sateda now :p

And woo baby, That wraith hive king? Talk about superpowered. So it seems the wraith Kings are just.... Unstoppable warriors, and the Queens are better phycics.

I also liked the character dev of Tayla and Sheppard. Sheppard doesent have any friends except his team now :p

Ronan fighting the Wraith was pretty cool. Having his weapons strategically placed for him to pick up as he went along made it obvious he knows well how they fight.


Sheppard doesent have any friends except his team now.
I got the impression he's never really had many friends to begin with. He told her he preferred flying helicopters in remote parts of his world. He has a tendancy to be a loner.

I didn't quite understand a Wraith hive King. I suppose if a ship has no queen though, they'd have to find someone to lead. He looked like a war-beaten general to me though.

Is Sateda the name of Ronan's home planet?

Okay, I really, really like this episode. Not only did it focus on Ronan who until now I really didn't care for, it showed a "little" bit of a softer side to Sheppard. I loved it when Teyla told Shep she understood what he "meant to say". That tickled me a bit......

I too loved the big bear hug at the end, especially after he had told Sheppard he would kill him if he shot the wraith.


And, OMG, I couldn't stop laughing when Rodney got shot in the butt........

It was funny that Rodney got shot in the butt. I'm hoping they will develop more into the bond between these characters. I would love to see Sheppard develop this sense of family even deeper.

I thought the argument between Carson and Rodney in the puddle jumper was funny. Rodney trying to argue that he's closer to Ronan than Carson and then the two of them fighting over who's going to go down to the planet and join in the fight only to have it won before they could settle the argument.

And if Rodney couldn't sit, how come he was sitting down in the puddle jumper flying it?

I liked this episode too. I was laughing so hard when Rodney got shot in the bum, and he's mumbling I don't believe this I was in tears. X:::D

Ok, I just saw this epi. tonight. New in Canada on Space channel (I have cable).

I loved this epi.
It was smart, funny and sad all at once.

I did not realize how John felt about his team mates...Family...awww that is so sweet.
And my Carson flying in a shooting that bad Wraith. 'If he don't like it he can sue me.' So, funny.

"This can't be happening.." Rodney ....I laughed so hard I woke up the dog and the cat. Well now I know what epi my little flashy .gif I got a year or so back...LOL

This show is just getting better and better. :D
