How do I get my Avatar beside my name?

However it seems you have to get 50 posts first :p

I'll post later when I have more time to be here about the various features of the board. But the quick answer is, to have the avatar option, you have to reach 50 posts. Once you've hit 50 posts, that option should be available to you.

The ability to upload your own avatars is reserved for board members who've been here longer, worked their post count up higher (I've forgotten at the moment what post limit we set it at) and the posts have to be quality. For that reason, post count is off in some forums like the Avatar (game) forum and the Other Guys (fan fiction) forum. If we get the feeling someone is making a bunch of posts just to boost their post count, like a bunch of one word replies, chances are when they hit the post limit we won't automatically update their status. We want people who are contributing good discussions here to reach that point. When that point has been reached, we manually have to change your status to SGC Friend, which offers more options than just custom avatars. But I've got to get off my computer so I'll make a post later tonight detailing everything regarding this. :)

At the moment, we only have two SGC Friends who reached that status on the old board.
