A humorous episode though I think I would have preferred to see the actor reprise his movie role. It was just a fun episode to watch. Loved Carson. And what's up with him calling Sheppard son? They look the same age. Rodney, once he became infatuated with the guy, was hilarious! A total scene stealer. It was just fun to see them acting goofus.

XD I also thought this episode would be the worst in the season.

Suprisingly, it was very humorus :p And I agree with the rodney thing. Its so like him XD

I loved how carson was such a "buddy" to the guy. And how Tayla and Ronin led by Carson stole the herbs XDXDXD

A thought I had earlier...

If I was Sheppard, I would NOT have told him that I was first going to cure all the people on that planet. I would have let him figure it out the hard way. :p Although I suppose Sheppard was just being kind to him, even though he didn't deserve it.

First of I want to say a great week for stargate. A great sg1 episode, and a good atlantis episode.

This was a very funny show, Rodney and Becket had me on the floor.

As for Carter's question, I don't believe Sheppard told him he was going to cure the people on his planet. I think sheppard told him he was going to cure the people on Atlantis, and then return him to his planet. Thus why he was so excited to go back.

I will say I was upset with the ending. I was hopeing they would have shown Beckets reaction to when the drug wore off and he realized what he had been doing.

I also did not catch it at first and I had to go back watch the ending again. To find out the mckay had eaten some of the herb and had Sheppard cleaning his room. I thought that was funny.

Sheppard did tell the guy in the puddle jumper that he was going to send the guy back to his planet after he gave them the antidote or whatever it was. It took him awhile to say it, but that's why the guy stopped smiling just before the scene changed.

I didn't catch that at the end that Rodney ate the herb and had Sheppard cleaning his quarters. I think I assumed by their behavior that he had eaten some herb or something, but it seemed so mumbled in their speech that I never picked up on the details. That would have been hilarious to see Sheppard reacting to McKay like everyone had been reacting to the other guy.

I'm confused. We did see Beckett's reaction when the drug wore off, it wasn't at the very end, it was earlier in the Puddle Jumper. He was rather cross towards the guy who had him befuddled.

I was thinking before that. I would like to have seen his reaction as soon as he took the antidote and then it just kind of hit him and would be like oh man. But the scene in the puddle jumper was a bit after the initial shock.

Sheppard said something like ok let me go and clean your quarters so where ready to go and look for more gates, and then everybody is just looking at Rodney and he says what I had just a little for scientific purposes. Then Weir tells him to get rid of all the herb.

So is the reason Sheppard reacted to him and the others didn't because Shep was the only one who hadn't taken the antidote?

I think it would have been more funny to see Ronan's reaction when he snapped to than Carson's. Ronan's more likely to actually do something to the guy. But Carson was rather cross with him in the puddle jumper which was a change since Carson in his speech always sounds like he's apologizing for something. Maybe that's just the Scottish accent thing. I've noticed that Scottish accents can sound like the person is always asking questions.

Well I doubt Sheppard would have so readily gone to clean his room :P
It didn't effect him due to the cold he had earlier on, guess he didn't need the antidote anytime soon, oppatunity for McKay.

I'm sure that's just Carson's personality, always worried, I know the accent to be more jolly than that, I have many scottish and irish relatives xD
