Surprisingly good considering I didn't much care for the first part. I liked Sheppard the best in it. Especially once he thought Weir was dead, he did some great butt kicking. Though what was that idiot thinking to tell Sheppard that Weir was dead? Did he not think that would only inspire Sheppard to do as much damage as he could?

It seemed out of character, I thought, to see McKay stand in front of Weir when the guy was about to kill her - but I really liked that! Go McKay! Maybe he has great potential after all!

The one thing I really did not like was how Ford talked to Beckett. I mean, come on, Beckett is not a soldier, Ford didn't have to be so mean. After seeing this episode, I'm actually feeling better about Ford being taken off the main cast list and only being a recurring character. The guy was just being a jerk I thought. But then Dr. Carson Beckett is like my favorite character in the show, so I'm not really going to like anyone who's mean to him, and even Teyla seemed to be a bit rude towards him.

What's the deal with them saying it was the season premiere? It's like the midway point in the season. What's that all about?

I cought that too. I thought it was midway during season one as well.

Although, I thought the episode as a whole was pretty good, I didn't like the treatment of Beckett either. Furthermore, I didn't understand it at all. It didn't fit the character(s).

Some of the scenes seemed a little contrived as well.
Like when Teyla dropped the knife when they were fighting. Man, how many times have I scene that before. Not the fact that she dropped the knife, but the way she did it. Made me want to gag.

Oddly enough, I did like the interaction between Weir and McCay. Who'd a thought?
