Unlike SG-1 which I didn't think I'd like in the beginning but ended up liking more than I thought I would, this one I thought I would like more at the beginning than I ended up liking.

If that made any sense.

I just ended up feeling the plotline was rather weak, with an invisible imaginary monster that could do harm but take no blows, and peaceful people who ascended at last, though looked nothing like what we've seen ascension look like in the past.

Just another opportunity to get Sheppard to kiss a girl on screen.

I liked Rodney's humor the best in this one.

when I first met Rodney in the SG 1 series I couldn't stand him but his humour is great in Atlantis.

I know what you mean though. I thought I would really like this one but I ended up not liking it as much as I thought I would.

Was it just me or was this a copy of 100 days from SG1? <img border=0 src="img.photobucket.com/album...niel4.gif" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v629/DanielJackson/Emoticons/daniel4.gif") />

I too was a bit disapointed in this one. What really got me was how quick Sheppard thought every one had abandon him.

At least in 100 days Oneil always said his people were comming for him.

Well 100 Days is only a little over four months, Shep said he was there for six months. Also, in 100 Days the Stargate was buried, or I think Jack thought it might have been blown away, so he didn't expect a speedy rescue. Whereas in last night's episode, the others could have come on through to try and find a way back. So he probably couldn't understand why it was taking them so long.

However, don't you think his beard would have grown longer than that if he had really been there that long?

I agree with Weir, I liked the beard. He should keep it.

Loved his, "Can you hear me now?

It did feel like 100 Days though.

I think Rodney is much more enjoyable now that he's not so afraid of everything. I love him showing bravery. Although at times his sarcasm is a bit too much.

While I realize 100 days isn't exactly like this episode, the idea definatly came from that episode.

I did like the beard. I never thought I would, but I think since he always has had a little fuzz, it wasn't as dramatic a change. I think he should keep it.

I can deal with Rodneys sarcasm. Cannot deal with his arrogance.

What I found interesting about this episode was that all the "heads" of most of the departments in Atlantis went on this mission. What if something had happened to them?

Just an observation.

Also, I was totally confused about the "creature". Why was it so easy to defeat? What did defeating the creature have to do with them finally ascending? I must have missed part of the show. Also, why make this little area for people to ascend if the ancients made such a big deal about Oma helping people to ascend. Kind of didn't make sense to me.

Okay, I have another question. Why was it that Shep couldn't go back through the portal until the other people ascended. I didn't get that.

I was under the impression that ascended beings had that kind of power, now that they were ascended, they could let the humans out whereas they couldn't before they were ascended because they didn't have the power.
