Okay, did anyone not see that coming?

While I did like the episode, it was totally predictable.

Again, poor Rodney.

I wonder what happened to Shep, of course come season three you know he'll be the big hero.

Of course he'll be the hero. Also, it seems most likely to me that he got beamed out of his 302 by one of the Wraith darts who were on his tail. So he'll probably end up with McKay and Ronon on his way to our galaxy.

I wonder if that means that the season opener will show interaction with the SGC?

Of course, Weir will contact Earth and let them know what is going on. Oh, do you think they will fire her over this and put Sheppard in command?

I just thought of something. They probably can't fire Weir and put Sheppard in her place. As much as he would probably love that, he also loves going out on the missions. If he took her place, the likelyhood is that he couldn't do that anymore.

As if Earth doesn't have enough to deal with with the Ori.

Unless they plan on killing the Ori off early on next season and then focusing on the Wraith to then end SG-1 where all the focus on evil is on the Wraith.

It just seems to premature to me that the Wraith are already heading for earth.

Yes, totally predictable, but I think I was saying before the episode aired that they couldn't be trusted. If I had been Weir I would have simply stayed cloaked. I would not have responded. And perhaps had the other two ships zoom in and destroy them. In no way would I have allowed any uploading or downloading of information or anything like that. Atlantis is truly run by a bunch of morons. Fire Weir, get General Hammond or somebody competent as him in there to run things.

That would be sweet if they could get DD on Atlantis.

That would be cool, but I doubt it will happen. Weir is a main character, so I don't think they're just going to get rid of her any time soon. The fact that these Wraith (the ones heading to Earth) seem to be acting alone means that when/if they and the Ori fleet destroy eachother, there won't be any more coming any time soon.

Well Ford was a main character and they got rid of him. Honestly, I think he was a better, stronger character than Weir. Weir either needs a serious chracter adjustment or needs to be replaced, I just don't think having a weak leader in Atlantis is working.

I liked the episode, I think Shep land his ship on the Wraith ship. I also don't think the Wraith ship will even get close to earth. Mckay will stop the ship and turn it around back to atlantis. In the process I think in the process they will capture the wraith and have a working wraith ship in season 3.

Thats what I expect, however we will have to wait till July.

My guess is that the other wraith really dont know about earth. I mean, if they did, then a BIG fleet would be on their way. This way, they can get their greedy little mouths on the humans first.

But... Somehow they wll be stopped. Sheppard will do somthing to free ronin and mkay, then somehow disable the ship or turn it on the other.

They still have a certain ancient ship up their sleeve >.>

Assuming this to be true, do you think there is a possibility that Ford has been hanging around watching this stuff and is coming to help?

He's still alive right?

Like super ford could die. That is a good possibility. He did show an extremley strong will to show Shepard he was still useful.

It would make things make more sense... if he beams or gets shepard out, then they can get rodney and ronin out, and do their thing.

Hi all. I agree. My guess would be that the two Darts on Sheppard's tail damaged his -302 just enough for him to able to land in the Dart bay and he'll rescue Ronin and McKay and/or try to sabotage the ship. But what I think would be cool, assuming the Hive ships jumped into the Milky Way, would be for Sheppard to crash land on a planet and dial the SGC and forewarn them of the Wraith's arrival. I think it would be great just to see the dynamic between Landry and Sheppard given the former's questioning of his ability to be the Atlantis military officer in The Intruder.
Although I'm not sure about being beamed out of his -302, in Letters From Pegasus a culling beam ran straight over the Jumper without scooping anybody up. But then again the writers have changed how technology works to suit a script (see SG-1 Seth ;) )

I think we also have to think about time frame. Even with the technology to get to Earth, didn't they say that it still takes several weeks to get there from Atlantis?
