It just seemed weird to see Hammond out of character. Besides that, I missed seeing Teal'c and Sam and more of Jack. That being said, it was a fun episode to watch. I liked Daniel calling her a fruitcake. She's still a mystery though, which annoyed me. Interesting aliens. I thought the hiccup girl was a bit over the top.
This episode makes me think that they plan to have Daniel cross over to Atlantis when SG-1 is over. It makes sense, he wants to go to Atlantis more than anything, but they aren't going to have him leave SG-1 while it's still running. And Atlantis is missing a character like Daniel, sweet and lovable who has an insatiable curiosity and is constantly seeking for the meaning of life. Rodney is starting to enjoy the action more, but he's not that curious and not that sweet and lovable. Sheppard is obviously a Jack O'Neill type character. Teyla is a mix of Teal'c and Sam, Dr. Beckett is clearly not that type of character, nor is Ford. Weir is the Hammond equivelant. They need Daniel.
