I enjoyed this episode as much as I would enjoy any flashback episode. I enjoyed the ending more though where we were back in the present day and saw our main characters. I especially loved Sam's, Daniel's, and Teal'c's reactions to Joe, especially Daniel's face expression when he said, "Jack?!"

I thought the concept was interesting and knowing Jack, very plausible that he's been seeing someone else's life for many years and never said anything. The thing about Jack that's so different from the others is that he's not going to say something that he knows would make others question his sanity.

Now, the wig or whatever that they had Daniel wearing when they tried to show a scene that would have taken place back during the first season was so lame - that looked nothing like how he had his hair back then. For one, it was still too short, for anohter, it looked greasy and his hair was generaly clean and soft. So the wig bugged me. :p

I thought it was interesting that Jack went to tell the wife that everything was true. It also makes me wonder what Joe's doing now, is he somehow working for or with the SGC or was he able to rebuild his barber shop or what?

But I enjoyed the episode. It was cutest at the end beginning with when Jack told Joe that his gun was not real but his was.

Oh, I also thought some of the things they raised in the episode was interesting. I feel positive that they were raised because of things fans have been saying on the internet.

1. The Furlings - are we ever going to see them? Lots of fans want to know. What I find also to be interesting is that this was the second time I've heard it said that they think the Furlings would be really cute. I believe the first time was in the episode when Jack and Maybourne got transported to a moon, Jack made a comment about them being cute. Then in this episode, one of Joe's employees made the comment that they sounded cute, like Ewoks.

Because that's been said twice, I would bet more than anything if they ever showed the Furlings that they wouldn't look cute and furry at all.

2. Is that woman Jack was with when he thought he was forever trapped on that planet pregnant with Jack's son? Joe said to wait for the sequel - are we going to find out then? I think many people want to know.

Seems like there was something else but I can't remember.

I thought it was okay. Cute, but okay!

Oh, something that did tickle me. Did you notice how very pregnant Amanda Tapping was when she was on the phone with Jack? There was a shot from in front. Although they just tried to put a bigger shirt on her, you could still see her tummy!

Nope, I did not notice that.

You know, this episode was cute, but, these yearly update episodes are getting a little annoying to me...:sigh I mean, it was cute how they did it, and I'm sure there are fanfics being produced as we speak about Jack's end of the little devises :wave , but, the update episodes are starting to get a little old... But taht's jsut my opinion... I could be wrong!

And I did notice the belly!!!!! So cool!!!!! :tgrin

Oh, another thing this episode did was to confirm that Sam is now leading SG-1. So that probably makes it a certainty that despite adding a new character to the team next season of the same rank, Sam will be the team leader. Most likely because she has the experience and he doesn't. I really don't want Jack to go though.
