I'm so mad! They didn't explain to us what that whole thing was that happened between Anubis and Oma Desala! Obviously she defeated Anubis - but how?! ARGH!!!! :mad

Okay, I'm also extremely mad that they killed of Jacob. What was that for?! I mean it's bad enough they had to kill of Fraiser, but why Jacob?! MAN!!!! :mad

Well other than those two situations, I thought the episode was pretty okay. A little slow though.

The fat guy turning out to be Anubis - I so didn't see that one coming. I never pictured Anubis as a fat jolly guy. He didn't even look like the current host for Anubis. Do you suppose that guy was who his host was when he first ascended?

My theory on Oma Desala is that she's dead. I believe the only way she could defeat Anubis was to sacrifice herself along with him. That's just my theory.

I found it quite nice that they were finally able to get rid of a romantic interest for Sam without killing him off. In fact I thought the whole plot between him and her and the break up was done very well. I think he acted very naturally for a guy in love with a woman who just broke up with him.

I couldn't help but saying "Awwwww!" all throughout the scene when Sam was watching her dad and Jack came in and put his arm around her. ;) ;)

I'm so glad those two finally decided to invest in a relationship with one another. I've thought that if Jack didn't end up with Sara again and Sam didn't end up with Narim, that they shouldn't be with anyone but each other. I'm glad they finally saw that. I loved the hints Jacob kept dropping but I was probably yelling at the tv set telling him to just tell her to follow her heart with Jack. He was perhaps being a little too subtle with her, although she's a smart girl and if I could pick up what he was referring to, I'm sure she did too. Clearly that's why he didn't really accept the other guy so much. Which, by the way, was so wrong of her not to tell him that she was bringing him to meet her dad.

Now why did Daniel have to be naked again when he came back?

I loved the ending at the pond. That was a good ending.

Here is my prediction...

Jack and Sam are going to get married. This will explain Sam's five episode absence from the show at the beginning of next season - she'll be away on her honeymoon. This also gives Jack his way out of the show. He retires so there is no conflict with them having this relationship. So he's at home, fishing mostly, and we can assume Sam goes home to see him each night when she's on earth. This way she'll actually leave the base more often because she has a greater desire to leave than she's ever had before. So the possibility for him to do guest appearances if he really wants to.

But whose going to be in command? I wonder if it will be that CIA lady. I think she has the personality for it.

This thread actually had several replies made, but they were all lost a few months back when ezboard was attacked and all those threads disappeared and ultimately were unable to be retrieved by ezboard personnel.

Just FYI. I deleted all of them because all they said was roughly what I just told you, and they didn't even show who had posted there.
