Good episode - but what does the title have to do with the episode?

Daniel needs to stop trying to imitate Jack.

Well, I didn't catch the very begining on the episode, so I don't know about the people the encountered.

Were they there in exile (originaly)? That is one definition of Babylon.

Anyhow, I did like the episode and I have a suspician we'll be seeing them again before the end of the season.

Great episode,

Newfan is correct in that the people were in a sort of exile, hence the name Babylon.

i also asume Carter's responce is to the oh but it is line by Daniel last week. I thought that was to Oneill my self.

Yep, that's the line. Daniel needs to be Daniel, he needs to be true to his own character and stop trying to imitate Jack.

As soon as I heard it I thought that would have been a great line for Jack.

I also noticed this past episode "Jack like" lines coming from both Daniel and Mitchell (the whole I'm Mitchell and ditto on the rest thing). I was a little disappointed about that.

I'm trying to figure out if the writers are trying to give a little tribute to RDA's character or they just don't have enough to fill in more independant character/personality traits for Daniel and Mitchell.

I think maybe they are just used to writing these lines and since no Jack, someone has to say them. They are good lines, I just expeck Jack to say them.
