I love the interaction between Sam and Jack in this episode. I think that this was the episode where Jack really started to see Sam as somebody that he could count on.

At first, she was just a scientist that Hammond had foisted on him, then she demonstrated that she could hold her own in a fight in "Emancipation" but I think that it was in "Solitudes" that she really won his respect.

Great episode, 9.5/10 stargates.
