SG-1 escapes through the Stargate before it is shut down, and learns that Daniel's alternate reality vision is true: Apophis is moving to attack Earth from above. The team must stop Apophis and his son, Klorel, who inhabits the body of their friend Skaara.

First thing, I love the name of this episode. "Within the Serpent's Grasp".

When I first saw this episode I was totally surprised they have gated to a ship. Which I thought was pretty cool.

I totally expected the whole fight back. It was a good season finale, though. It was a nice rounded episode.
