This one was good. I liked the woman who played Linea. Not the best episode. I give it a 7 or 8 stargates. I don't know if after this one they should have done the fountain of Youth episode with Linea. I know they wanted to tie up loose ends, but sometimes one episodes more than enough.

I liked this episode. I just wished there was a little more explanation about Linea before the end of the show. For instance, how long had she been in the prison (might just have forgotten if they mentioned it), how did she know how to work the SGC computer system or learn it so quickly?

But, overall, I thought it was a decent episode.

Yeah, but how could she have possible known exactly how to work the equipment? You can't just chalk it up to just being smart.

If I'm not mistaken, they showed Linea some "general" information. They would never show her how work the gate. Besides, according to Gateworld, it took the Pentagon 15 years to develop that computer dialing system. So, I doubt in a few hours, she was able to figure out how to dial the gate using the computer and locate the correct dialing sequence for the planet she was looking for.

JMHO!

Whiel it's true that she comes from a place where they don't understand how to map out molecules, I would argue that Linea is probably an Alien version of Carter. She has great observation skills and through her observation of people using the computer and one could argue that there were some off-camera moments where perhaps she was spending time nosing about the control room. (whether she was really allowed to or not)

I suppose that is plausible. Just finding it a little hard to swallow. But, of course, this is not the only unanswered question the writers have left us with over the course of the series. :thanx:
