I'm right, right? Simon did leave her, right?
But it's no wonder that he did. She didn't have the decency to tell him in person before she left, so what's that say about her and her relationship with him? If it had been serious, she'd have told him in person and said her goodbye's in person. Obviously their relationship wasn't strong when she left, so it's no wonder he would have moved on. If I were in his position I would have been very annoyed by the way I was told and would think if he'd really loved me, he'd have come to me in person.

Holy bat droppings!
She's a guy disguised as a woman.
:rollin
Actually, I don't know if he has left her. The one episode that talked about it was not "real". However, I think she did say in her video that she understood if he moved on (if I'm not mistaken). Of course, I certainly could be mistaken as I missed a few episodes last season and a few in the begining of this season.
But, as far as talking to him in person. I don't even think she told him the full story in the video, but I distinctly remember somebody saying she had to tell him by video because his security clearance had not gone through prior to her leaving.

I was putting myself in Simon's position. Which if I was in that position Weir would be a guy. Sheesh. :teyla I guess I didn't transition it very well.
I thought we saw the two of them together at the beginning of this season and he'd moved on, or something like that.

Yeah, he's moved on. But she made that choice herself. Not only did she tell him to in Letters from Pegasus, but she seems like the kind of person who devotes herself entirely to her work, which means their relationship was probably strained just from her work on Earth, before she ever even went to Atlantis.

I think it would be awesome if Simon showed up on Atlantis after taking a trip on the ship - is it the Dedalus? Surprise her by letting her know he's been approved by the SGC to be there to do whatever job he's good at doing. And to see their relationship rekindled. He's the only guy in the show I've liked the idea of her being in a relationship with.

She seems... not too loyal. I mean, She shows no definite signs, but I think she is leaning toward some people in atlantis :p
