View Full Version : Five Word Story

It'll be a little while before the new season starts up and we can chat about the new episodes. I had an idea and I hope it will stick. I've seen the idea played out on other message boards before. The idea is that we write a story, together.

The rules...

You can only write five words and you must wait until someone else posts before you can post again. We can have more than one of these going if you like and anyone can start it.

I'm starting this one so I'll give the general information for this story.

This story takes place in season 3, it is an adventure we did not see in the series so it's up to our imaginations to come up with it. That's it, lets see where it goes from there. :)

July 28, 2006 EDIT:

I'm adding in these guidelines...

1. Make sure that what you add makes sense as a sentence. Please carefully read what you write in comparison with what has been written before you. It is important that the sentences make sense because people can lose interest if they can't understand it.

2. Never put punctuation at the end of your five words. It is up to the person after you to determine if that is where they want the sentence to end or if they want to continue it or if they want to put some other kind of punctuation there.

Thanks! :)

The sky above was a red tinted jumble of tiny particles left over from a night of festivity by the SG1 team and co-workers. Though on this strange planet it was an added improvement from their previous alien dealings. Sam was standing over by the gate when all of a sudden Cameron came running. He was screaming something about not being able to find his gear that he had put their IDC transceiver in and that Daniel was nowhere to be seen. Carter replied that there was something about the look on Daniel's face the last time she saw him. But, Daniel was not carrying the gear nor did he even know what was when Cameron put the IDC in to his top pocket something about him suddenly changed. But since Cameron was not aware of what just happened he went back and sat down with Sam and Teal'C.

Daniel was off somewhere exploring the planet like he usually did, but no one was even aware that he was about to walk into an unknown, but not unfamiliar darkness of a near by cave.

Meanwhile, Cameron was still concerned with the mission specs that require him to report the every movement of his team. Sams eyes began to glow. Cam thought, this is not something that normally happens. Teal'c took his zat and aimed it at nothing. Well, nothing. Teal'c was staring at air, but nothing was there. Cameron asked, Sam what going on? Sam was looking, puzzled at both tealc and cameron when she decided it really was a failure. She replicated supplies her Gou'ld would need. Now she spoke like a system lord when she turned her head and said, I am a Tok'ra with no name. What have you done with Daniel Jackson? I cannot find him anywhere.

Why is everyone looking into the air like they just saw a ghost.

Daniel was still completely lost. He tried using his compass but it just kept on spinning. Then daniel saw something too bizare for words to explain, so he just started running until he found the exit. Exit......Daniel didn't even realize all of this wasn't real. He didn't even know how he'd arrived in this place. Intrigued, he began to work his way back through the cave he had absentmindedly wondered about. When ever he thought the opening to the cave was only to find yet another ending. He could not figure out the tunnel system so he took a moment to attempt to organise his thoughts

He could not figure out the tunnel system so he took a moment to attempt to organise his thoughts but the thing he saw concerned him immensely. He moved rapidly in an other direction but realisde that he was gonna have to ascend again. But, he was neither dying so he realized it was not an option at the moment, he then heard someone approaching from the entry of the cave, so he went for his radsio and hoped that someone would respond

But, he was neither dying so he realized it was not an option at the moment, he then heard someone approaching from the entry of the cave, so he went for his radsio and hoped that someone would respond
'Mitchell, do you copy?' He didn't get a reply so he struggled to his gear, in an attempt to find his compass or anything that could tell him where he was supposed to be, then he realized, because it, the cave, was lined with horribly disfigured human skeletons. His radio then made a sound that made his spirits soar, litteraly. He began to glow but for some reason, he couldn't seem to focus on the reality anymore.

Meanwhile Teal'c along with sam carter was heading along the very same path as daniel jackson had trod not that long ago.
Daniel then saw Sam and smiled.
'Sir, we've found him.
'Affirmative, where is your location?'

He could not figure out the tunnel system so he took a moment to attempt to organise his thoughts but the thing he saw concerned him immensely. He moved rapidly in an other direction but realisde that he was gonna have to ascend again. Now she spoke like a system lord when she turned her head and said, I am a Tok'ra with no name. What have you done with Daniel Jackson? I cannot find him anywhere.

'Sir, we've found him.'
'Affirmative, where is your location?' Mitchell replied.
'Uh, I'm not sure.. ' Sam said...
'What is the terrain like?' Mitchell asked
'' Cavey..? sir? I have no idea, it's a little dark...'
'' The exit is just ..... here? Teal'c added, running his hands through what looked like a waterfall.
'I don't know Teal'c, you shouldn't touch that.
