Carter's ranks

Carter started out as a major. I know she made captain. What is she now and has she been anything else?

When Gen O'Neill was promoted, he promoted Maj Carter to Col Carter I believe. Don't recall exactly how the air force ranking system works. But, I'm thinking it's either LTC or COL. Either way, she is address as COL Carter.

I'm pretty sure that she started the series as a Captain... then I think it goes to major, then to Col., but I'm not possitive!

That is correct. I didn't catch that when I originally responded to the thread. The show started her out as a captain.
