Besides Charlie. I forgot about the show last night until about half way through and when I tuned in, Jack was stranded on some world and Sam was working hard to find a way to get him back. Dr. Fraiser was concerned because Sam was clearly showing feelings for Jack she shouldn't have.

I don't know the name of the episode, unfortunately.

Well three months passed on that world for Jack and he fell in love with a woman who told him she wanted him to give her a baby. Well, though it wasn't shown on the show, I got the clear impression the two slept together.

Then at the end when SG-1 finally rescued him and he turned to go, she put her hands on her belly which typically I only see women who are pregnant do that.

Does Jack have a child now on that world?

The episode is called "One Hundred Days", and yes the implication is that Jack has a kid with the woman, I think her name was Laira. I don't think he really 'fell in love' with her though... if you watch it again, he is making the best of a bad situation, and he is attracted to her, but not enough to stay with her.

I think also they were trying to show how much Carter has feelings for him. :samjack

It never specified when he left whether or not the woman was pregnant or not.

I'm thinking that she was pregnant when he left, but she knew how much he wanted to go home... she didn't want to tie him there when he didn't want to be there... I'd love for them to go bacvk to that planet ans see if she does have a child now... that would be a really interesting one...

Was that episode in the third season? If so, we could calculate that if she did get pregnant, the baby was born in the 4th season, so the child would be around 4 years old now.

Interesting idea. . .

SG-1 goes back to that world but Jack's not with them since he's a General now and stays home. They find her and quickly realize the child is Jack's. She pleads with them not to tell Jack because ultimately she wouldn't want him there unless he wanted to be there. Thus Sam, Daniel, and Teal'c are faced with the ethical dilemma of whether or not to tell Jack that he has a child.

Of course, ultimately, she never said anything to him about wanting a husband or wanting to spend her life with him. The only thing she asked Jack for was to give her a child. The way she put it could be interpreted to mean she wanted a child but not a husband.

Ultimately, I don't think they could make a real dynamic plot involving him having a child with her unless the child is older. Perhaps resentful that his/her father wasn't there growing up.

I'm not so sure she didn't want a husband. Although, she knew Jack would go back if he could, she did not tell him right away about the radio. That gives me the impression that she may have wanted him to stay.

I think she wanted him to stay, but knew he'd go if he had the chance. I mean, it really wasn't a question when Teal'c showed up that he'd be going... I dunno... I still think it could be interesting as a main plot of a sub plot, but that's just me! :)
