I watched "Fire and Water" twice today. I was making screen caps during one watching, then watched it again for pleasure. I'm really liking this episode, I think because of how Jack took such a nurturing role over Sam and Teal'c which he doesn't show very often. But when the stress really started getting to them, he was there to put an arm around Teal'c and hold Sam as she cried. The only thing he got was a sympathetic talk from General Hammond when he busted out Hammond's driver's side window.
I also liked when Sam read from Daniel's diary and quoted him from the movie about never getting paid. And the ending of the episode was perfect. Jack smiling like that was great! So cheriewren who didn't like the image at top, look at how Jack smiles at the end of that episode! :thbt I loved the humor at the end.
Hopefully I'll get that episode up tomorrow.
