In the second episode "Prisoners," I was left with the feeling at the end that they would revisit this character Linea, destroyer of worlds who SG-1 set free when they escaped from prison. Yet according to IMDB, the actress never appeared in another SG-1 episode after that. Did the character appear again played by someone else or have they never revisited that story? If not, I'm feeling very unfulfilled. :p

They touch on the Linea subject in one more ep, but it's not the same actress... I don't want to give too much away, but, trust me, they do go back to it! :tgrin

I saw this episode last night and it bugged me to no end.

The thing that really bugged me was that Linea, or Ke'ra as she was called in that episode, looked too much like Sam. So I was staring at her throughout the episode not really paying much attention to what was going on because I was trying to see if it was Amanda Tapping in make-up and special effects. Which according to the credits it wasn't her - but what a likeness!

I actually didn't like this episode. What really bothered me was that they just let her go at the end. First of all, how did they make her forget again without aging her younger? Furthermore, she didn't have a change of heart or mind like Teal'c did and even before Teal'c changed loyalties, he was a good guy who knew right from wrong and struggled with being forced to do wrong. She simply suffered from amnesia and if she ever comes out of that amnesia, it was very clear she would go back to her murdering psychopathic ways again. She even told Daniel that she could feel two people in her and one was very evil. And they sent her back to the very planet that has the antidote for curing this kind of amnesia. I was like - hello? And Daniel falling for her seemed really. . . weird. Yeah, his wife just died and he's grieving, but technically he lost her a long time ago and has never seemed to take a second look at a woman and now all of a sudden he falls for this psychopath? It just seemed strange to me. But then again, we're talking about a guy who accepted a guy's daughter as a gift without really knowing her that well.

I wasn't real thrilled with the episode either... at first, I thought they let her go to set up future plot lines... but nothing has come of it...

LOL Daniel is his own soap opera with women, even with his wife just officially being dead... Although, the more I think about it, they all seem like Intergalactic pimps or something, always falling for people... :)

Yeah, that episode was so not one of my favorites... I don't even think it's on my tolerable list...
