I've changed the layout slightly to that of frames. Basically what that means is the links are now up top rather than on the right and stay up there wherever you go. I'll have to do some more editing on other pages because I won't need links back anymore, but I'll do that later, I'm going to bed now. But if anyone wants to tell me what they think of the change, here's the place to do it. I still have the original version saved on my computer, so if everyone liked the old way better, I can change it back.

I added background music to the web site. I wanted something soft so it wasn't obnoxious and made for good background music. Unfortunately the SG-1 theme song didn't qualify and I couldn't find any of the other music from the show in midi format. But please tell me what you think because I know background music can be trickly for web sites because some people can hate having it there.

It's not on the index page. You have to click the link to get into frames. The music is embedded with the top frame where the links are. It's also very soft music. Maybe check to make sure your volume is on and turned up and that your computer has the ability to hear midi's. I can hear it.

I don't hear it on any page, my volume is up, and I don't see any link to get into frames... It must be hiding in plain sight, but I have checked all the links I can see on the main page...

When you click on the link above do you go to a page with a link saying "Welcome to Stargate Central" with an image behind it? Then when you click that link, do you go to a page where you see the main four on the left as always, and a frame at top with the egyptian hieroglyphics background with all the links to the different pages?

Did you think I meant the music was on the message board?
So that's the first you've seen my site? It's still a work in progress. I'm glad that you like it. :) Do you like the background music too?

The BG music is actually one of the tunes to a Nintendo 64 game, "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask." It's the song of healing. I remember when I played that game long ago, I just really liked that tune and when trying to think of a tune that might make a nice background tune, I thought of that one and did a google search and finally found it on the third web site I tried. The other two had tunes from the game, but not that specific one.

It's mood music. I think it captures the heart of the show which has deep emotional roots. Considering what our main characters have been through, tragically losing family members, being tortured, killed and brought back to life, etc...
