View Full Version : Why didn't Teal'c just do it?

In the season one finale, "Within the Serpents Grasp..." When Klorel was killing Daniel, Jack had his gun pointed at Klorel and was shouting at him to stop. When Klorel continued, Teal'c began yelling at Jack that he would have to kill Klorel. Seeing Jack's hesitation, and knowing Daniel was being killed, why didn't Teal'c just take his own weapon and kill Klorel to save Daniel instead of standing there and waiting for Jack to do it? If it was me and a friend was being killed and another friend was not taking action, I would take action.

That's kind of a cryptic response which a person could derive so many different interpretations from. Could you explain what you mean by that? I'm not going to say your opinion is right or wrong, it's your opinion, I'm just trying to understand what you mean exactly. :cam
