Okay, what's the deal with Michael Shanks?
First - the opening credits. Ever since he came back to the show in season 7, they've bumped his name to the very end of the cast credits. Not only at the end, but quite a ways after the last character to show, especially in this season. And why, why, why, why, do they list his credit as "And Michael Shanks as Dr. Daniel Jackson?!"
First of all, they don't put the character's name for any of the other stars. Second, we all know who his character is. So why in the world do they do his credit different than that? What, is he more special or is he being punished for leaving for a year? What?
And then the new commercials advertising the Friday night shows. They show the cast on what looks like a vast cracked desert floor. But it only has Jack, Teal'c, and Sam. Why isn't Daniel in that shot?
