You know, even though I'm an avid Jack and Sam person :samjack , That could work, too! They would be cute together, but, then again, if she crossed over to Atlantis, the whole superior officer thing would strike again.... :no I think that would drive most fans to drink if that happened again!!!!!:gvup

Not if they promoted Shep up to the same rank as her. He's a major now, which Sam was for several seasons. So if he got promoted, they would be the same rank so the superior officer thing would not take effect. :)

I could seriously see Daniel crossing over. I could see Sam only if she doesn't begin a relationship with Jack. I couldn't really see Teal'c because his whole mission has always been to free his people so I couldn't see him going to another galaxy to help the humans when there is still so much work to be done for his own people. I don't see Jack crossing over for the simple fact the actor isn't even returning next season.

Actually, even if Shep got promoted, Sam would still be his superior officer. She would outrank him simply by being a COL longer. Frankly, what would they do with two COL's there anyhow. And them both being military they would be in each others chain of command (because of the nature of the mission). So, that still wouldn't work.

But, I'm not a fan of the idea anyway.

I have a friend who is retired Air Force who said that there's nothing wrong with relationships developing in the Air Force, it happens all the time. He said they may frown upon some of them, like with a superior officer, but...

I don't know. Even if I were open to the idea, they just don't seem to compliment each other very well.

Heck, I think Sam and Carson would make a better couple. But, if you ask me, I think Sam should stay with Pete. He loves her so much and I'd hate to see him get hurt after all this time..........

Unless, they kill him off like they've done with a number of her other boyfriends.

Ooh! I love the idea of Carson and Sam! They would be so cute together! Seriously! I can just see her coming home to Atlantis after a mission and there's Carson to put his arms around her and ask, "How'd it go, love?" They would be so cute together! Great idea Anissa!!! :woo
