Who would you pair Sam up with?

I guess I'm the only one who likes the idea of pairing her up with Daniel. :woo

My personal preference would be for a Sam and Jack pairing. They'd make a great couple and, after all the times that they've saved the world, I'm sure it wouldn't physically kill the higher-ups to grant them as exemption from the fraternization regs.

As far as Sam and Daniel goes, although I've never thought of them as a couple, I could accept a relationship between the two of them. Since Daniel has already died, he might even be immune to the Samantha Carter Black Widow Curse and, as Sam was already a host to Jolinar, she would hopefully be protected from meeting the same fate as poor Sha're.

With Sam and Narim, I don't see a relationship working out longterm. He saw her as an angel, more a figure of worship than a person for whom he would hve affection. He had a very idealized image of her and even Sam would have had trouble living up to that.

I haven't seen Seasons Seven or Eight yet - I only started watching a few months ago - so I can't give an opinion on a relationship between Sam and Pete, as I have yet to lay eyes on him.

I liked Sam and Martouf. He loved her and I could see she had feelings for him from the time she was Jolinar.

I had actually hoped her and Martouf would have gotten together. Can't believe I'd actually forgotten about him.

I think Jack and Sam belong together more now that they show has built them up to really belong together. Back in the first season I would have said a BIG NO, that Daniel and Sam felt more right for each other since they had more intimate moments. I'm really glad that Amanda Tapping was able to talk the writers out of making Sam the ultra feminist they had intended her to be which we saw some of in the pilot episode.

I agree, don't think the show would have been the same if Sam was a unltra Feminist always trying to prove herself.

I agree. It made sense that she might be a bit defensive and eager to prove herself in the beginning, but if it had continued very far into the first season, it would have made Sam seem very insecure.
