Amanda was born in England and moved to Canada as a child, from what I've read. In the show she plays an all-American girl, but something stood out to me when watching the episode "Brief Candle."

The way she says the word "process" sounds strange and I've only heard British people pronounce it that way. She pronounces the o as a long sounding vowel, liks saying the letter "o." Whereas I and every American I've ever heard, pronounces the o as a short vowel sound like "praw-cess."

Just thought it was interesting.

she definetly sounds english and if you look on her website she does come to the uk and spend alot of time here

it would be great to see her in a british tv show for instance Coronation Street because shes a great actress and even a guest apperance would be great , im an all english girl and too see her in a national treasure like corrie or eastenders would be amazing
