How did they get Kurt Russell's hair to stand up like they did and did you feel it was believable for his hair to stay like that during the mission? I would have assumed it would have flattened.

Under normal circumstances I would have said that was totally unrealistic, however.....

I had a friend who was a Marine and he had really short hair. He tried to perm the top because it was so straight, but messed it up and it pointed straight in the air for several months.

Funniest thing you ever did see.

One more side note. If you cut it short enough with clippers it is possible to get it to sit straight up like that, but the top would have to be really short.

But, I suspect with Kurt Russell it was hair gel.
