Synopsis: The Lucian Alliance finds a way to board the Destiny and takes several crew members hostage.

Addition:
Despite being given only five minutes to live, David Telford continues to resist. As he runs out of air, Matthew Scott and Camile Wray argue with Everett Young to restore life support to the room. Young, however, waits for Telford to pass out. The same happens to Rush in Telford's body. He counts down on his watch, then has Adam Brody restore air to the room. Young resuscitates Telford, breaking him free of the brainwashing. Telford reveals that the Lucian Alliance is coming to Destiny. Young prepares the ship for invasion, locking down the gate room and posting guards at every access point. The civilians are given designated areas to hide.
Rush awakens in Telford's body with a large cut on his hand. Kiva wanted to make sure he wasn't faking his near-death experience. Samantha Carter arrives over the planet in the George Hammond. The facility is shielded, so she dispatches a squadron of F-302's to disable it. As the attack begins, Kiva wants to know if they can dial Destiny. Rush confirms that they can, but doing so will destroy the planet. Kiva orders it done. Her group evacuates through the gate with Rush in tow. Carter is forced to leave the area before the planet explodes; two 302's are lost.

I can't believe they ended Part 1 that way! Awesome way to cliff-hang it. But a little odd, too. Like they filmed the whole 2-parter as one episode, and the broadcasters really poorly split it in two.

Anyway, I really can't wait for Part 2. Eli found turbolifts!!! :D So I'm keen to find out what they find up at the nose-end of Destiny. Reminds me of Atlantis. The potential for new discoveries right under their noses. I think some of the Lucians will join the crew. Don't yet know what Commander Keeva hopes to gain from trying to take Destiny. But I don't think she knows how many galaxies she travelled through to get there either.

If all the Lucians end up part of the crew, that's gonna be some dynamic! Keeva could definitely play well off Camille Wray. Maybe some LA/IOA joint dirty deeds.

And wth was that shield fluctuation about? It focused solar radiation on one person specifically. Like some hinky defence mechanism, or Franklin became part of the ship's systems when he vanished from the chair. Roll on Part 2!

I agree Brym. The next part will be very interesting.So many possibilities.

So many possibilities, so many questions. How did Young know how to counter the brainwashing? What's Kiva's plan? Is she really as inept a villain as she seems? Why did that guy melt? Why does the LA want Destiny anyhow, do they know they're now screwed? Or do they know more about Destiny and how to 'realize it's true potential'? I wonder if Kiva's even in charge of the whole Alliance or just a splinter group. I can't wait to find out.

Nice, Wraith! Maybe she found some Ancient texts pertaining to Destiny. Usually an instant upper-hander. I know it's a stretch, but what if she's playing dumb and is really a System Lord? That planet where Daniel found Shaka had that snake lake. The known System Lords could easily have been killed off / defeated. But a new, more secretive few could have infiltrated the Lucian Alliance Forces.

Funny aside btw... what if they operate in chapters, like bikers... I'm up for joining a LAF chapter :p

^I was thinking the same thing, Brym. It would be awesome if she was a Goa'uld! That would fit with the 'killing followers because they're sloppy' attitude and knack for torture.
