Synopsis: The crew believes that another party besides the Stargate Program was interested in the Icarus project. Furthermore, there may be an enemy spy on board.

Addition: Nicholas Rush, while sleeping in his quarters, has flashes of memory from David Telford. In the memories, he sees the number 314 and meets with a group from the Lucian Alliance near an abandoned warehouse. They have a Tel'tak parked in the area. Rush informs Everett Young of what he saw, and believes that Telford is a spy for the Alliance. Rush and Young devise a plan to discover the truth. During the next switch with Telford, Rush takes the place of Morrison, posing as him during the switch. Meanwhile, Telford notices that he's not in the body he expected. Matthew Scott attempts to lie about the reason Telford is inhabiting Rush's body, but Telford easily sees through him. As Scott leads him away, Young sneaks in behind them to use the stones. He speaks with Jack O'Neill about his suspicions.

I don't like the description here, I know it is accurate as that is what the episode text was on my DVR too but it really doesn't tell what the episode is about...

yeah the description doesn't really fit. But I love this one!

Oh, I agree. Loved the episode, the darkness that runs through the series was really hit home during the final sequence of the episode. Good-man Eli was really upset with what was going on but helplessly sat watching. I think that is going to impact him very heavy in coming episodes, especially if Young goes too far.

That was intense. All through the beginning, I was wondering if Telford was being set up or not. Then he asked about the gate address, got a look of pure villainy and said, "You didn't think I'd give you anything real, did you?" Chilling. Of course, Young is just as scary and crazy in this ep as Telford is. I also liked Young seeming to set up Rush until he found out the truth, then the tailing ground forces became Rush's backup. And it was nice to see Daniel and O'Neill...although I was puzzled as to why an archaeologist would be sent as a tail.

Well, Daniel gets sent all the time when they need someone reliable who has a great deal of experience at covert operations, which by now Daniel does. Also, Jack wouldn't want to let someone in on the secret unless he could be sure of them. Sam is off at Area 51 almost certainly and Daniel is a logical choice, his work researching the ancients would likely make him available for quick jobs like that.

^I agree that he'd do a good job, it just didn't really make sense to me that the military would operate that way. But then , Daniel gets sent to do all sorts of things normal archaeologists wouldn't...just goes to show how awesome he is!

awesome episode. it's about time jack got onto destiny! though i can't help but wonder if the marine he swapped with was left with an inexplicable desire for cake, and the tendency to drop homer simpson one-liners into random conversations :P

got a gripe with the recon op. daniel gave them timely intel, and they blew their chances of capturing the alliance members by stopping their vehicles too far away from the ship. they must really like tabbing!

^Ah, the logistics of storytelling...they had to let Rush get away otherwise we wouldn't figure out what's going on...oh well. :) Good to see you, brym, haven't heard from you in a while.

All in all, a good ep.
