Write a Stargate Story, One Post at a Time

I know a lot of fans would like to write their own version of Stargate, but sometimes don't have the time or motive to write a complete story. Now here is your chance. We'll all contribute here and the rules are quite simple. From the first post a basic concept will start the theme. You follow on and make the story from your view as you post, each in turn. Humour works well, and OC's (original charachters) are welcome, as is new ships and technology. We went as much of the whole Stargate franchise, all the players, to be included. Keep it PG13 and we'll try and invent something exciting that we can all be proud of.

Write as much as you like each post, be it a page, or even a sentence, but try to keep an eye on the events of each post, so it doesn't end up a mishmash of nonsense. Enjoy youreslf:D

Jack looked at his watch, it was already late, the Pentagon had promised him a full review of his report within the day. **** he hated beaurocrats. A knock on the door and Walter came in.
"Sir, Atlantis just sent a message, they'll send out the Daedalus and Orion to start the search immediately."

"Er, ah thanks Walter, carry on." He thought for a moment and called out. "Ah, Walter, ask SG1 and Colonel Ellis to come up will you."

"Sir"

Colonel Abe Ellis and SG1 come into the conference room and take their seats. They wait for Jack. He comes in and pours himself a cup of coffee, a flash fills the room and the coffee cup shatters when Jack drops it out of surprise.

"Greetings, O'Neill."

"Thor?" Jack was lost for words, he knew for certain his little grey buddy was dead. "Am I dreamin', or is this some kind of joke? Ah, yes Ellis are your boys up there playing around with the hologram thingy again?"

The commander of the Apollo shook his head. "Ah, no sir, they are under your orders sir, if they fool around with that again, well you know what you said."

"Indeed O'Neill, I am certain you made mention, referring to the cleanliness and hygene of the Gamma base." Teal'c put in. All in the room looked at the aparition that appeared to be Thor.

"I am dead as you well know O'Neill." Thor said. "That is why you are receiving this transmission now. In the event of my death, I made this to automatically be sent to you if things in the galaxy were to go awry, after your battles with the Goa'uld and Ori."

Jack just looked at the Asgard, as did the others. Cam was intrigued though. "Let me figure this out. You are just an automated hologram of yourself, and you prgrammed yourself to appear, if we had to save the galaxy again?"

"Yes." Thor said simply.

"Well that was easy, wasn't it boys." Vala said as she thumped Daniel on the arm.

"So Thor, your message." Jack was a bit more composed now.

"Just beyond the remains of my home world in the Ida galaxy, a new menace has arisen, long thought extinct, they are the G'nash. A humanoid people much like yourself, only older than even the Ancients. They are moving toward your Galaxy, but I must warn you, they are powerful, their bodies heavier and larger than the human race, and lastly, they are gifted in a form you would call magic." With that, Thor disappeared.

"Well, what do you make of that?" Jack said whimsically.

[colonel Mitchell]

"i say we get working on a way to save the planet" says hammond

[Wraithicator]

"Indeed." Teal'c agreed with a solemn nod.

[CommanderOz]

Jack turned around to see the General standing there, he almost spilled his coffee again. "Er, George we not long ago went to your funeral, um I'm a little....."

"Confused Jack?" The older man had a beaming smile. "Well so am I, the last I remember was seeing you and my grandchildren in hospital, then everything faded away. It seemd some time then my eyes were open again and a woman was standing in front of me and told me I had a chance to finish what I started and in time I would be back."

"Don't tell me...." Jack said but then Daniel intervened.

"Oma Desala, she helped you ascend." Full knowledge written all over his face.

"Partly right Dr. Jackson, it was Elizabeth Weir, Oma found her before the Asurans in Pegasus could finally end her life, helped her ascend, then she did the same for me."

"Dang, first Thor, now you George, not that I'm not happy to see you, but well who's next?" Jack said with a little loss of his normal humour.

"Well we did have Janet and Martouf here a while ago sir, you never know." Sam said and then hugged her old boss. "It's good to have you back General."

[AC'S Mom]

Jack says aloud, "Does anyone here feel a sense of Deja Vu, here?" Mumbling under his breath,"I hope like the devil, we are not going to get reruns of the Gou'ld. Resnakes...(shivers) bad enough the first round."

"I agree Jack." Hammond said matter of factly. "Now what we need to do is get a ship out to Thor's old homeworld and see what we can find out about these G'Nash people. Unless someone has a better idea." The old General took a seat at the table and poured himself a coffee.

"Goerge, as much as I see the merit in what you say, and I'm glad to have you around, but does the Penatgaon even know you're here?"

"Yes Jack, they do, I met with General McDonald yesterday, and I've been fully cleared to be here in a advisory role. A civilian go between if you will, between the SGC, the IOA and the Pentagon."

"Well that was quick." Vala quips as she leans back in her chair, and then springs back upright as she realised she almost toppled over.

[Wraithicator]

"Unscheduled offworld activation!" Walter's voice interrupted. Within a few brief moments the collection of Generals, Colonels, and other assorted personnel had gathered in the control room.
"Walter, are you getting an IDC?" Jack and Hammond said at the same time.
"Sorry, Jack, old habit." Hammond muttered.
"General?!" Walter exclaimed.
"It's a long story." Jack said. "IDC?"
"That's the strange part, sir, it's SG1's IDC."
"Oh boy." Daniel replied.
"Again?" Mitchell asked.
Jack sighed.
"Open the Iris." he ordered. A few seconds later, Colonel Mitchell entered the SGC and looked up at himself. Daniel Jackson, Janet Fraiser, and Martouf entered behind him.

"Well this a fine barbeque." Jack said sarcastically, then leaned into the mike. "Right stay where you are, Marines lower your weapons." We better go and talk to these people. Ah George, might be better if you stayed here. Carter, Mitchell with me, the rest stay here as well." Jack turned then and went bounding down the staircase, with Sam and Mitchell close behind. Entering the gate room the new party looked in shock at seeing O'Neill, it was written all over their faces.

"General, you're alive?" Janet Fraiser said with tears welling her eyes. Jack saw she now carried the rank of Colonel on her bdu's.

[colonel Mitchell]

"janet your alive" says sam who payed no attention earlier.

both mitchells look at each other "what the hell is going on here?" they say similtaniously

[CommanderOz]

"You're askin me that?" SG1 Mitchell asks the other. "THIS is our base, and we've been down this road before, and the last time didn't end too well, did it? You're the same guy who came the last time ain't ya?"

[Wraithicator]

"I wasn't the only one! At least we didn't try to go to Atlantis and steal a ZPM."

[colonel Mitchell]

"we werent trying to steal the zpm!!"
realizing things are going to get violent fast ONeill steps in

Vala pokes her tongue out from behind O'Neill's back and mouthed the words "You did too"
