I have to say that this was the best episode I have seen so far of this show.

I like this show! I always wanted Rush to get pwn! Now this is interesting, Rush is going to be the bad guy of the series and soon the crew will have complete control of the ship cause of the guy who sat into the chair! but there is still more mystery behind Young.

I see a little BSG in this storyline.

brilliant episode! i'm routing for rush. he was right to push for chair usage. and he will fly that ship back to either destiny, or a planet it gates to. and have the tactical advantage over the destiny crew for it. that ship will undoubtedly house star maps and regional data, and possibly a weapons system that won't deplete the rest of the ship's systems after one short burst.

I'm not 'with' Rush, I disagree with his methods (although he does get results)...but I'm not 'with' Young either. Leaving Rush behind, while understandable, is a slime-ball move...and Young so far had seemed to be taking the high road, while now he's stooping to Rush's level. Poor Eli is caught in the middle (again!), Greer is downright scary, and Wray is a pretentious, power hungry, manipulative idiot. We actually saw some strength in Chloe's character this ep...not much, but a little.
Good way to set Rush up as the bad guy/antagonist.

Could you blame him though? He lead everyone to think Young murdered someone. All be it he knew he wouldn't be found guilty, the "slime ball" move began with Rush. While, I don't agree with what Young did, I completely understand.

Eye for an Eye!

I agree with the beat down. I think they are going to have Rush become the bad guy in this series. I don't agree with rush methods... he was too scared to do it himself.

So yeah if you want to support rush Just REMEMBER if you were in this situation.. Which would you rather have Young who would do everything humanly possible to save you or Rush who would do everything humanly possible to drill you?

I see a little BSG in this storyline.

thats what i said before the show started nobody listens to me and i also called rush getting beat up i just thought it would be on the ship man i dont like rushes attitude but he shouldnt have been kicked off the ship young dont realize he just made the biggest mistake they need rush

That didn't seem to work to me...the guy's still catatonic as far as we know. Poor guy.

that guy is dumb to get in the chair in the first place does he not understand how dangerous that move was then again maybe he wants rush to be punished he hates rush anyway right god im soooooo confused with this show

But, we don't know if Rush forced him into the chair or not.

colonel Mitchell

why would Rush force him into the chair? i could tell by the look in his eye that he wanted to sit in it so he sent Eli away

Anissa T

I don't know that he wanted to. I'm just pointing out that no one knows what really happened when Eli was gone. Just like in the beginning of the show, no one knew what really happened.

It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

I believe whole heartedly that Rush will show up again.

really or is it gonna be like the other people who went to another planet and you dont know what happened to them

Anissa T

True, the powers that be do have a habit of doing that.....LOL!

However, Rush seems to be too much of a central character to do that. He maybe out of the show for 1/2 or even a whole season only to "SHOCKINGLY" return.

I think it's going to play out a little like the original Battle Star Galactica series where (1978) where Baltar shows up with "reinforcements".

We'll see!

cM, everyone who paid attention thought that from the start. i noticed that alot of communities simply weren't over-mentioning the similarities between SGU and BSG. you can't deny the camera work is very similar.

maybe they hired the BSG camera crew XD
