B-O-R-I-N-G.
Okay possible spoilers ahead so read carefully.
I felt like I was watching a scifi reality show with all those mini scenes of the crew talking into that floating camera thingy.
This is getting ridiculous. When Atlantis was this far into their first season, we had already had our "OMG! We are all going to die if we don't fix life support and power!!!" moment as well as already establishing who the enemy was. The same for SG-1. They didn't have the power life support issues, but they knew were to find Daniel who had already figured out there were already more stargates out there. Also, by the end of the first mission to Chulak (however you spell it) when they returned to Earth there was even an iris up on the gate already. Universe is starting to get dragged out. A 2 hour movie premier, 2 full episodes and we are still having power issues.
Has anyone else noticed that during SG-1 and Atlantis the Stargate program was supposed to be this big secret and now with Universe it seems like every family member knows and is getting a visit by someone through those stones?
But, I am going to hang in there. Maybe, hopefully soon it will start to speed up.

Okay I have one reason I am watching this show.... and that is my loyality to the old stargates. Okay you got to see the old director in the show this time around. But ALL the scientist have there heads so far up their buts they are lost. I can some what feel for Rush when the other astro-physitist came in. If they just use the stones and let some Atlantis or SG1 help them. their problems would of been solved now. Plus I hate Ali being the only comic relief of the bunch. In the other cast, all of them pull the part. **** YOU WRITERS

In general it went no where, but I was intrigued by the idea of finding the habitable planets. I think the cast is too big and they (the writers) need to focus more.
Nuff said......

interesting episode, i thought. rush is a very proud man. ashamed to let anyone see him appear weak, because he feels he's worked so hard to get to where he is, and from where he came. i respect that. i think the others were wrong to mislead eli like they did too. i'm completely with eli and rush here. but i also think rush needs to learn to be a little more forthcoming if he's to get along with... anyone.

At least there is hope for excitement as they are facing an "umm, we aren't where we figured we should be" moment. This is the first whole show I could sit down and watch, so I can not give a more detailed opinion.
