Top Banner Contest...

That's right. I have decided since I handle the Banners up top of this forum...I thought why not refresh and/or add to the revolving banners we have.

And so I am opening it up to the forum members to enter banners and then I pick which one(s) will be displayed.

The Requirements are:

1. They must be Stargate Related.
2. 980 x 175 (width and height) are the dimensions.
3. Must incorporate the " Stargate Command " title.
4. Only Members of this site can enter. :raz:
5. No bribing the Admin! And yes there is only one Admin Judging this, ME. :cool: (Haha you can't bribe NF) XDXDXD
6. Have any questions/comments PM me. :D

All members may comment on fellow members entrants. :bear:

You can either PM them to me or post them here. Your choice.

Ok, that's it. Just remember to keep it clean and I look forward to all your entries. :D

Gee there is such an avalanche of banner offers :rolleyes: Sorry I can't get into the fray, but I can't even get my camera pics in a download. I have ideas but no talent at the graphics. I like the new Stargate Command banner,Brym, but the wording is lost. In the middle of the banner the lettering is taken over by the main picture. Maybe.. tuck the wording in the "sky" background. I think the Christmas cap in the other one was cute though. (jmho)

cheers, ac's mom. i was thinking of putting the tag behind atlantis. but that would mean cutting the city out completely from the rest of the image.... something my current (rubbish) mouse is not cut out for - pardon the pun.

What I meant by Bold Focus...is...you see how Brym's and I have 'Stargate Command' big...its there, but not. Kinda its big. Yes, I am fumbling for words...yay me. LMAO.

i like em. you're definitely messing with blending and depth. nice work so far! i think your sga one is best because it looks like you did more with it.

some good advice i was once given: always try to avoid putting text in a corner - anywhere else but, and have different fonts for the graphic name and your name. gives people more to look at ;)

Wraithicator, I like the Stargate Atlantis poster. The box view is very nice. The inclusion of the Wraith is good too. But since Sam Carter is now in charge maybe you can slip her in somewhere? The Stargate SG1 in the box form is also good. Putting in the the old and new is good . Popping good old Ba'al is cool.The long banner with the "city has risen", is basically good, but the order of characters may make Teyla look as the main focus or leader,enlarging the main lead characters(Shepperd & Wier) and making the rest smaller , more equal in size would give the whole thing a more consistant look. jmho :)
