Just kidding.
AC had a run in with a tornado and is temporarily out of the net. If you need anything concerning AC, let me or one of the other moderators know and we'll take care of it until AC makes it back.
You and those animals be careful out there AC!!!!!!

Glad Ac is back home with her beasties, and she can get all powered up and running on her own 'puter. :ca:And my beasties can reclaim the food and water dishes. Of course the beds, snoozing spots, litter box, couch, Mom's attention, petting, are of no little matter either. But we all will be hosting AC's beasties (minus AC) when she visits Dragon Con next month. :scared: But we are glad AC's home was safe and sound and up to fuction again. :) Robin, as far as those 'quakes I'm not sure about that, but after suffering through the "Wizard of Oz" breeze while sitting in our truck, the hubby and I have concluded our Dorothy in the house experience will never, ever be on our bucket list of to dos. Our truck has been scarred for life and the folks in town ain't gittin' their siding and shingles back after it was stuck in the truck. And the trees in town... well I have a few choice words for them and their (bleeeep) branches too.XD

I've been through tornadoes. *shudder* It's only by the grace of the gods and goddesses and the Tooth Fairy that my brother and I are even alive today.
Been through quakes. There are rules with earthquakes. The ground shakes, rolls or shimmies. The are no rules with tornadoes. The things I've seen a tornado do scares me to death.
I'll say it again...I'll take a quake any day. Hands down.

Robin, I hear you on the tornados, and after living in basement apartments and feeling the floor and walls move, I'm not sure which is the lesser of two evils. Both are off my bucket list thank you.The hubby and I are in agreement,no basement apartments, being buried alive is not a thing we relish. We have also agreed never to sell our truck now, as we have "rednecked" our Wizard of Oz experience. Instead of wearing red shoes we have our red pick-up truck. The truck left the ground and took all the hits from the stuff swirling around us and we still got to the best place on earth, home. That twister bruised and battered the truck, gave our middle aged hearts a severe jolt, and thank the Goddess we got to go home where our neighbours said,"Tornado? what tornado, all we got was a little rain and a good wind." But they weren't picking siding, shingles bark leaves, and indescribable junk out of their vehicle, and checking out the dents scratches etc. That poor old truck will fall to rust before it is consigned to the scrap heap.Is rust still classified as in the red?(don't want to change the ownership's colour)XD

I agree...basement apartments...really bad idea!
I'd hang onto that truck for as long as possible...it's your 'good luck'! I do believe rust can be considered 'red'...*grin* (Son had a beat up Toyata pickup. He loved that thing. We called it the USS Rustolium, because it was more rust than truck! It took him and DIL back and forth to Montana several times with nary a problem!)

Oh man Robin, was the the truck they drove across the pass during the blizzard last year?

The one that almost wound up in the Sound? I think it was...let me think...it was the year when we had the incredibly strong winds...I think that was 2007. I THINK there was another 'almost disaster' because of the ice this past year, but I don't think the tractor (cab of the truck) was hanging out over the water that time.
