weir similiar to madame president

i dont know if anybody has seen battlestar galactica but ive noticed that weir character and madame president character are very similiar both women put in command and have no experience both are also questioned if they really know what theyre doing and determine to prove their stong women and are able to take command

I'd like to see Weir be a bit stronger as a leader. You know, I think she and Sheppard look related, see the banner up top? Don't they look like they could be brother and sister?

I wish they wouldn't make her characterso unsure of herself. She is suppose to have years and years of diplomatic work under her belt, but that doesn't show through on the show.
