I thought this was so funny, I had to share.

So, I'm taking a Stargate quiz on Facebook and one of the questions was "What does DHD stand for". I chuckled a bit as my very first thought was of an interview with Michael Shanks who said he didn't know exactly what it stood for.

Then, visually scrolling down the answer options, I laugh out loud when I come across......

D.H.D = Don't hit Daniel.......

I couldn't help but to think about a few situations where I'm SURE Jack would have loved to hit Daniel........

DHD: can be used for a lot of things...Duck Heads Dam*it!, Dig! Hard! Deep!, .....:j4 but Don't Hit Daniel is the best.:j3 :d4 :D

afaik, the dhd's crystals do store information, which i'm sure can be extracted for debugging purposes. for example, power regulation, gate addresses dialed, a gate's physical coordinates, and most likely a version tracker for the original dialing program - for receiving network updates.
