Just thought I'd let everyone know what's going on with the fandom awards...
The Stargate Fan Awards are in the process of 'getting ready to notifiy' the nominees. Apparently they're just now 'rounding up volunteers' to help the team with sorting through the nominations. Why this wasn't done prior to the opening of the nomination process is beyond me. I'll keep an eye on the site and let you know as soon as voting opens.
There is absolutely no 'movement' at all at the Skiffy Awards. According to the posted schedule, nominations were supposed to open the first of January. But hasn't as of yet. I'm guessing that RW is keeping Techie busy right now, and that she'll open the first round of 2009 soon.
