Simple enough question.

I know a guy who looks quite a bit like Joe Flanigan, especially his profile. Or at least used to, I haven't seen the guy in years and he's quite a bit older than Joe. But still, there is a resemblance.

I use to date a guy who looked a bit like Paul McGillion, but oh what a stinker he was. If I'm not mistaken, they are right around the same age.

But this was over 10 years ago.

He smelled bad? That's one of my worst pet peeves with people - I can't stand people who stink.

LOL!

That is a huge pet peeve of mine, but that's not what I meant.

I use that term in a reference to him being not so nice. I can't believe we were together for almost 2 years.

Ah. I tend to think of the word "Stinker" as an affectionate term in that regard. I call my puppy a little stinker all the time, when I was a kid if I caused mischief my dad would call me stinker. So I guess the word has a different meaning for me. Either an affectionate term or meaning the person actually stinks. But then I usually say that the person "stinks."

Just depends all on where you grew up. I find it interesting to see how different areas of the country use different words.

For instance, I'm a native of CA and hubby is a native of WA. We both argued for weeks when we first met on whether it's "pop", "soda" or "soda pop". :lol We actually started polling everyone at work. But that didn't work out to well because everyone was from all over the country and called it something different.
