David Hewlett wrote: "Just wrapped 5 years of Atlantis...very sad. I have never worked with such a wonderful cast, crew and audience. Thank you and goodnight!"
From his other Text I can tell you...he was not happy with the announcement that Atlantis was being canceled. As well I am sure the rest of the cast feels the same.
It is a sad sad day for the cast, crew and the people who love this show. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn313/AngelicaConstantine/Icons/sad029.gif
We will do our best to bring it back. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn313/AngelicaConstantine/Icons/019D97115.gif

I think you were trying to be humorous. Didn't actually come across that way.

If you weren't trying to be funny then your comment was totally out of line. Reel it it, cM.

"dont worry i aint no jealous type just wanted to chat"
You honestly don't see a problem with that comment?
I suppose not, because you're only a child, trying to play at being a grownup.
First of all, even if AC had Mr. Hewlitt's phone number, she wouldn't share it, as it IS a private number. Secondly, even if she did have the number and shared it, chances are you'd never get through, 'just to chat'.
The entire "don't worry i aint no jealous type' was totally unnecessary. The context of the 'conversation' of the posts leads one to believe that it was made as a retort to what AC said...and an attempt to placate her into understanding that your intent was just a friendly chat. Which I'm certain that is all that you intended.
Since this is a public forum, and we'd like to encourage others to join and participate, we all have to be careful of how we word our posts, and try to keep the 'bad attitude' to a minimum in them.
I will admit that often I'm perceived as being 'snarky', when I don't intend that at all...I'm just a very honest, straightforward type of person. I have written posts, only to delete or completely change them after reading them for typos, understanding that someone might misinterpret what I said.
And now...returning the thread to topic...
I read that Hewlitt already has several projects in the works, so even if he does miss working on Atlantis, he won't be 'sitting still', as it were.
Personally, I find the fact that most of the stars from both shows have so quickly moved on a statement of their reactions to being cancelled. And I hope that they aren't 'readily available' to the suits at MGM and Sci-fi...let those arrogant, out-of-touch sorts sit and wait to make their Stargate movies. Serves 'em right!

No problem. Sometimes we need someone to give us a nudge before we realize there's a problem.

That's part of growing up, kiddo...learning to control yourself. And, I might add, it's not always easy. Learn now, and it will be easier when you're old and gray like me!

Thanks Robin....
...and yeah, even IF I had Mr. Hewletts number...whats to say if I gave it out..that MY privileges would not be revoked?
I am not putting that on the line for anyone!
I would never do that to David and his family anyhow. No way and forget it. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn313/AngelicaConstantine/Icons/signs111.gif
Anyhoo... another text I thought I would share...
David wrote: Just recovering from the Stargate Atlantis 100th episode bash. My son doesn't seem to understand the term hangover.

ROFLMBO! Oh, that is funny!
If David's son is anything like mine, when he DOES understand the word 'hangover', he won't understand 'mercy'!! LOL!

i'm absolutely guilty of not accepting mercy cries when my bro comes home wasted. he might fall through the doorway and try to tip-toe to his bed. but he always ends up getting there through me first. and i make noise. lots, and lots of noise :D
accidental, of course!
cM, the text messages are more than likely an automated service. much like a mailing list for emails, except you give them your number instead of an email address. and they probably withhold their number, or block/redirect any incoming traffic.

or it might be a phone line which simply cannot receive incoming calls. commercial companies use them all the time. especially companies who call you to offer you cheaper services, such as cheaper long distance phone calls and the like.
