Synopsis: Ronon is reunited with Tyre, a former Satedan warrior turned "Wraith worshiper" (from episode 4x03 "Reunion"). Apparently having turned on his new masters and broken free of their brainwashing, Tyre hopes to rebuild the relationship with Ronon and Atlantis that has been destroyed.

I really liked this episode. I was afraid I wouldn't. You got to see many sides of Ronon. Especially him crying. I love a man who can get in touch with his feelings. :hug1: I also think this might be an episode that Jason Momoa has already cut off his dred locks, because his hair seemed darker and much longer than it did last week. So I am wondering if that was the wig I heard he was going to be wearing?

There were some hysterical moments. Mr. Woosley not being able to activate the doors in the conference room and the whole Rodney in the bubble bath scene cracked me up. That was definately an interesting way that Woosley relaxes. LOL.

Kanon seems alright. He is not annoying yet. What is odd to me, and I am sure she will be a great mom, is Teyla with a baby. It just does not look right to me for some reason. Perhaps it will grow on me.

I am seriously thinking about downloading this episode off of iTunes and onto my iPod.

I noticed the oddness with Teyla. First, for whatever reason, she was holding the baby pretty high up, not down by her waist like most people would, but that could also just look like that since RL is pretty short. Also, how often do you see a women in uniform cuddling with a baby?

yeah, mucho respect for tyre after that. and the look on the wraith's face when he raised the detonator :D

woolsey cracked me up too. the door scenes were pretty cool. bless him, he's still finding his way. but i laughed loudest when teyla asked him to take her son to kanan. that brief, yet monumental moment where he was completely lost - the look on his face was priceless!

i guess this was a bit of a facial-expressions episode for me :P

I think it's rather cool that we "don't" have several characters running around just like Shepp. I find Kenan a rather nice match for Teyla. He's not in the show much, so I'm not sure what people finding annoying about him.

Kanan is a good match for a Teyla. He is strong and supportive of her with out being over bearing.

I do not find him annoying in the least.

While I think Shepp (as a character) has matured over the years, I do not think he would make a good match for Teyla. Not that I want to see Shepp alone forever, but I don't think Teyla is the right person for him.

Okay, AC & NF, don't crucify me because I am going to have to disagree. I don't have anything against the guy personally, but I don't believe he is a good match for Teyla. Yes he is understanding of her wanting to fight and all, but right now he is coming across as sort of wimpy. He is basically Mr. Teyla.

Teyla is a strong woman and she deserves a strong man. I think Shepheard would make a good match and if not Shepheard then someone like him. Her relationship with Ronon is more brother/sister like. Who knows, maybe down the road they will put Kanon in a situation where he will show how strong he is, but right he is coming across as a wimp, not annoying, just wimpy to me.

teyla and shep ship? nah. i see their flirty moments, but don't think it'll go beyond very strong friendship. relationship-wise, shep had a thing with the ascended ancient, then this tbc thing with the pirate-type captain of the stolen ancient battleship. i think that gets addressed later this season.

I sort of can see how you would think that, but remember he has been through a lot and we have NO idea what he was like before his transformation.

ok, as promised Lem...

If you think about it, would Teyla really pick a wimpy mate? I do not think so. They have been friends since childhood.
Kanaan has been through Heck and back again with Michael and the transformation. If he was not a strong person he would never have survived. And to survive the transformation back again to human...who knows what kind of physical changes was made to him that had to be reversed.
Not every man who is strong act like it. They only do when they need too. Remember the scene with Teyla and him was an intimate setting with her and the baby. Whats he suppose to barge in like Conan, no. He is tender with them and that is awsome. Also to survive all those years under Wraith culling's etc...
It takes a strong person to survive all those years. Her people are strong.

I do not feel Teyla looks awkward with her own baby. She looks quite comfortable. I held my first like that for a very long time.

So, all in all Kanaan not wimpy for having feelings, he is a strong man to live through what he lived through. And I do not think he has to be like Shep to be a good match for Teyla. I think he is an excellent match.
And in the TV realm I trust Teyla's judgment and she fought hard to find him and bring him back to her. That must say something.

I did not say he had to barge in like Conan. All I am saying was he comes across to me as a wimp. Look at the hell that Ronon went through, a runner for years, and now what he has delt with in having to kill his old friends and trying to be turned into a Wraith worshipper. He is still strong and tough, he was still there for Teyla when she needed him and did not be rough with her. He carried her and the baby to safty. Just because a man is tough and not so huggy feely does not make him evil and not capable of caring.

Teyla looks odd with this guy. They don't match. When John was having that dream of him and Teyla a couple of eps ago or vision or whatever it was of the two of them having dinner, it did not look odd them being together. I am not saying that it has to be Shepheard, I am saying a man like Shepheard, you know, strong. Shepheard has not exactly had it easy either. The responsibility of an entire base and everyone on board's safety, he has been fed on and taken to the brink of death only to be revived, he has been transformed, he dealth with the death of his father. He still was there for his friends when they needed him. What is so bad about that?

I am just the type of person that likes a big strong tough man, that is all and this Kanon does not come across to me as that type. That is all I am saying.
