Who's to say he did not replicate the Ancient Gene that he could of possible gotten from say, oh, I don't know...Carson...maybe? He is smart enough to do so.

Thats his job and I highly doubt it. Considering Ronon and Rodney agreed, with Sheppard that is where it was parked.

I am not saying he is infallible, but when Ronon and Rodney agree on something...I think thats a good thing too. :bear:

SHEPPARD: Why isn't it decloaking?

McKAY: Let me see. What, did you break it?

(He takes the activator and presses it. John walks forward, waving his arms in front of him in an attempt to find the invisible ship, but he doesn't make contact with anything.)

SHEPPARD: No, no, we parked the Jumper right here.

McKAY: Yes!

DEX: One hundred percent.

McKAY: Someone stole the Jumper?

SHEPPARD: Oh, this is not good.

McKAY: I told you you should have stayed here!
