I've been using them in Flash and graphics for quite some time now. If you goto my website and check out some of my software's early production screenshots, you'll see some of the text is in Ancient. Thought they were common knowledge among fans.

I like the Times New Ancient one, it's in my movie prefix.

I have a folder with Ancient fonts...just have to figure out how to introduce them to Microsoft to get them to work. Hmm...Microsoft...I'm already seeing a problem.

Lemme help:

1. Copy the font files.
2. Goto: C:\WINDOWS\Fonts.
3. Past the fonts.
4. Done!

Even easier if you use Vista. Highlight them all at once, right click and select Install.

If people would like I could post the entire ancient alphabet

That would be handy, Jack...and probably aid in the translation process...

i like these:

Jack's Ancient translates to "The Stargate TV franchise is the greatest one in the universe"

Now that we have that we could decipher the writings on the stairs in the Atlantis gate room. I heard (in a 'making of') that it says 'Welcome to (The City of) Atlantis, please don't smoke'

I'll see if I can translater it later today.
