Secondary Command Bunker

This level includes the secondary command bunker and security station as well as a monitoring station that can keep tabs on the entire facility and operate the SGC in the event of an emergency. Located in the heart of the SGC, the secondary command bunker includes a small control room with video cameras and communications equipment linked to all essential SGC functions. This command bunker can also communicate with the outside world in the event of a major catastrophe blocking standard communication channels. It is used to monitor the covert training exercises the SGC personnel run in conjunction with the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Stockade

The SGC's main stockade is also located on Level 16, equipped with a number of small holding cells. These vary from a utilitarian room equipped with a bed, toilet and washing facilities, work station and monitoring camera to isolation cells with no appreciable amenities. All security stations are manned by two armed guards twenty-four hours a day.

This level also contains a number of small yet functional accommodations and a small mess hall for emergency purposes.

Oh man, I'll never forget having to go pic up a soldier and Camp Pendleton (we were at Ft. Irwin). How an Army soldiers ends up in a Marine Corps brig is beyond me. Thank goodness my father was still active duty (at that installation) and have us top notch directions to get there. Although, I'm pretty sure our brigs don't have a work station.....LOL!
