Been watching the mini series off and on. Haven't seen the ending yet, but I'm pleasently suprised at TM portrayal of an alcoholic.

I have seen him and many things and it does not surprise me that he can play a good alcoholic. Boy, that can be taken in diffrent ways can't it. :D

And no, AS wasn't the only thing I've seen him in outside of SG, but just the most recent.

Is this a remake of the movie in the late 60's/early 70's with Robert Duvall as the head doctor in charge of the investigation? Sounds exactly like that movie, only survivors were a drunk and a baby, and the baby survived because the drunk put a bit of gin in the baby's bottle of milk...
