You could always split the med teams and have them a head of each section. Say one team medical research, another team actuall med operations. Just a thought.

Or a field medic and a base team medical officer (Beckett would be the field guy, cause...well you know Keller...)

Oh, now that's a good idea too. But, give Keller some credit, she did some soul searching and a little coming of age in Doppleganger, Tabula Rasa and Missing.
