I would love to see her at a convention. She looks like so much fun and, while I was sad to see her go, I was happy that they did it so well. The little video the guy ended up making was touching both on a fictional level and a real level.

Was her character killed off because of contracts or was it written purposefully before they ended her contract?

Hello everyone!

I want to thank each and every one of you for all the mail I've received since the airing of the Stargate episode entitled "Heroes". Your kind words meant a lot to me.

There was one question that came up in almost every letter..."Was it my decision to leave the show?"....The answer to that is No. The producers told me that the show needed to be "shaken up" a bit. Sadly, that meant Janet Fraiser's demise. It has been a fantastic seven years for which I'll forever be grateful.

The above is what TR had to say about it. According to Stargate Command UK (http://www.kellys27.freeserve.co.uk/cast/fraiser/janet.html) that was the reason she listed on her official website. But, I cannot seem to find the direct quote. But, it was years ago, so it may be taken off the site now.

From what I've been told (direct source here...one of the convention volunteers...*grin*) TR is a veritable ball of energy. She's very petite, has a great singing voice and dances at most of the conventions. She's very friendly, and adores the fans as much as they love her.
