What do you think about them doing an episode where Richard Dean Anderson guest stars where we get to see a glimpse into Jack's childhood - learning about where he came from, what his childhood was like, who raised him, who his parents were and what they were like, that sort of thing?

After all, we know about Sam, Daniel, and Teal'c's. Sam's mom died when she was a teen, her brother resented their father as a result and distanced himself, she followed in her dad's footsteps. Daniel's parents died in a tragic museum accident and he was raised by other people. We know he had an uncle who regretted not taking care of him. Teal'c's dad was killed by Kronos and he and his mom fled to Chulak to serve under Kronos's enemy Apophis.

I choose sure, it sounds as if it would be a interesting story.

It would be really interesting but I think the reason they don't is because they want to keep him as kind of the mysterious one that we dont know why he turned out the way he did. I mean he is a smart guy and all but we don't know why he is the way he is, and that intrigues me and I guess that makes up a good part of his character.

I just love that everything he did even before this was... "classified" that cracks me up every time he says it

Yes. I think it could be interesting to see something of Jack's early life.

there's ust something about the mystery of Jack that makes him feel more believable to me. I know, probably not the most inteligent reason, but hey, that's me.

They don't have to give his entire childhood away. But, I would like to see maybe a key moment in his younger years that may have shaped him to be the way is is in his adult life.
