Actor will play himself in Simpsons appearance.

The first details of actor Richard Dean Anderson' upcoming appearences in the Simpsons have been revealed! The actor will play himself in an episode titled Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore, which is expected to air on or around March 26,2006, according to the Simpsons Folder web site.

During a visit to springfield, Anderson is kidnapped by Simpson in-laws Patty and Selma. The notoriously fanatical fans of his show Macgyver, i which the actor of course played the title role, can't resist taking Anderson Captive.

It goes on to explain the episode but I don't want to ruin it for you

Funny.

Though I think it would be more funny if they did a live action tv show or movie where they did that. Given it was a sit-com or funny movie. The same scenario could also be used for a drama or thriller depending on the angle they take and what the kidnappers were like - whether funny or dangerous.

Though I'm not a Simpson's fan.
