The Conference Rooms

Lately a few members have been looking for certain episodes. The conference rooms are currently under a reformatting process. This will take some time to complete, so please hang in there.

Once the reformatting is done, season 10 should be the most recent season showing, with season 1 on the last page. The same goes for the Atlantis conference rooms.

As of now, some of the season are still out of order, so be sure to look at all the pages even for more recent episodes. I would also recommend that you use the search tool. It is pretty good at finding threads/forums by subject or author.

If all else fails, ask me and I will try and track it down for you or if we do not have it listed, I will be more than happy to start a new thread.

I'll leave this up until the conference rooms are completed.

REMINDER:

When begining a thread for an episode please abide by the forum/conference room rules. Remember, as noted above, both conference rooms are under a reformatting process, therefore, it is important that the format rules for begining the thread(s) be followed in order for the new layout/process to be effective.

If the rules are not followed the thread will be either edited or restarted.

Why don't we add some pictures, i do it to all my posts even if you implement a button that allows people to click it before the images are shown to save bandwidth and so that load times for people are faster with slow connections.

Click the "Insert Image" button its in the quote, code, bold, underline, area above the posting area it looks like a mountain with a small moon above it yellow sky

Feel free to add pics to any of your threads, as long as they are topic specific.

For adding pics, click on the insert pic icon (square with mountain in it) and then add the url from which you are getting your pictures. That simple!

I was more talking about the episode posts as they would which if i could edit others post i would add pictures and fix up the bold stuff but i can't. so i did add it to my episode specific posts.

No. I know where the picture button is. LOL!

It is taking a lot of work for the admin/mods to go through and reformat these episodes postings. It would take even more work to track down and post pictures to ten years of episodes (Stargate) and 4 years of episodes (Atlantis). But, please, feel free to add your own.

make me a temp mod and i will add Atlantis Pictures as i normally watch an episode a day as it keeps me sane so i will post pictures after i watch. and will also add the boldness and the episode layout stuff.

I have no clue what your talking about in regards to the PM's with CM. PM's are just that Private Messages, so let's keep them private.

There are 3 of us working on the forums. Just a lot of work that's all. The forums are not our only job, thus the time consuming nature. The notes about editing is the "last" person to edit the thread. Not the only person to edit the thread.

We are getting them reformatted so the forum will automatically put them in order. However, they have to been titled a certain way (see forum rules) in order for that to be done "automatically" and in the correct order. Thus, the strict rules for the epi threads.

But sooner or later...it will take years mind you ...you'll get to the position we are in.
And there are no immediate plans to vacant the current positions. ;)

As for getting a job on this site, there are lots of things you can do if you show that you are willing to do it. First of you have to prove you are reliable. NewFan and Angelica have been here a long time and proven them selves to be reliable and great help.

So if there is something you would like to do, like moderate a certain forum, work on graphics or episode work, etc. Let one of us three know about it and your ideas. We will discuss it, and see. In time you may get a position. The only real requirement that I have is that you are a SGC friend. See forum rules on how to be that. Once you get there then we can discuss a formal position.

While you are waiting you are always welcome to submit graphics or templates for this site. Or episode guides.
