brown to gray

Do you think they colored his hair brown at the beginning of the series or do you suppose it just turned gray on its own?

If they used to color it - why do you suppose they stopped?

If they never colored it - why do you suppose they let it go gray?

It seems to me a lot of actors in Hollywood color their hair rather than let it go gray.

I'm pretty sure he was coloring it, and then got tired of it and let it go grey.

As of why he would color it, I don't know. I know that at 34 I'm starting to get some grey hairs, and so started coloring my hair. My son asked me once why I color it, and I said I'm not ready for grey hair. But I guess some day I will be ready for the grey and just stop coloring it.

I'm in my 20's and I color my hair because of the gray hairs. But I think gray shows up more in dark hair. My natural color would be as dark as Joe Flanigan's (John Sheppard). But I decided one time to go auburn and people liked it so that's what I color it, rather than continue with my natural darker color. Only bad part is that as my hair grows the roots are darker. But that's not nearly as bad as those with dark hair who bleach their hair blond - those roots are painfully noticable.

I think Jack looked better earlier on in the show. I think he's starting to show his age now. He certainly was in that MacGyver commercial.

Nah, maybe he felt like a different hair, or they would think he seemed more, old and experienced with a little grey hair or so
