Where are the points?

It's not on a point system. It's by "post". The total number of posts is located in your user profile or on the member list. So just click on your name or go to the user CP (see left hand panel, second box down).

The points referred to at the end of the thread are actual referrals. The amount of referrels.....sorry......I mean reputation points. What you receive is also located in your user profile. Often this is given to well established members, but can be awarded by anybody.
